Talent264 wasn’t created by a software company or a recruitment agency.
It was created by someone who has spent over 15 years working within the asbestos industry, including more than eight years responsible for recruiting surveyors, analysts, consultants and technical professionals.
During that time, one thing became increasingly clear: the way specialist recruitment works hasn’t really changed. Employers often struggle to reach the right people, even after spending thousands on job adverts and agency fees. Candidates upload their CVs to multiple websites, receive endless unsolicited calls and emails, and often lose track of who has submitted them for which role. Despite advances in technology, the recruitment process itself has remained largely unchanged.
Talent264 was built to challenge that.

Rather than acting as another recruitment agency, Talent264 is a specialist talent marketplace.
Candidates create a single professional profile that evolves with their career. Qualifications, experience, availability and accreditations can be updated at any time, creating a live talent pool instead of a collection of outdated CVs.
Employers don’t wait for CVs to arrive in their inbox or rely on third parties to make introductions. They can search for the skills and experience they need, express interest in suitable candidates and begin genuine conversations through the platform.
Throughout this process, both parties remain anonymous. Names, contact details and CVs are only released when there is genuine mutual interest and Talent264 has approved the introduction. This gives both employers and candidates the confidence to explore opportunities openly, without pressure and without compromising privacy.
Many professionals aren’t actively searching for a new job. They’re busy, often working away from home, managing projects or spending long days on site. They may simply want to understand what’s available without taking phone calls during working hours or signalling to colleagues that they’re considering a move.
Talent264 allows those conversations to happen privately, in the user’s own time — whether that’s at home after work or from a hotel while working away.
For employers, it provides access to a wider pool of experienced professionals, including people who may never have applied through traditional job advertising.

Every employer is manually vetted before gaining access to the platform. Every introduction is carefully managed. Talent264 is designed to build a trusted professional community, not simply generate as many introductions as possible. By focusing on quality, transparency and direct communication, we believe better recruitment decisions are made for everyone involved.
The name comes from HSG264, the recognised guidance that underpins asbestos surveying standards across the UK. It’s a reminder of where our journey began, but our ambition extends beyond one industry.
Our vision is simple:
To create the UK’s most trusted specialist talent marketplace, where skilled professionals and employers connect directly, privately and confidently — without the barriers of traditional recruitment.
Because finding the right opportunity, or the right person, shouldn’t depend on who makes the first phone call. It should depend on finding the right match.
